I click on the checkbox... hit apply... phone starts to sync.... finishes sync... box become unchecked and none of the notes from the iPhone are in macMail.
Thoughts? Is this a "stop using the gen1 iPhone and buy a new one" kinda thing?
I just did a test
I changed notes on my Iphone and When I got home I had a message on my desk top saying that syncing with mobile me will change X... amount of notes.
This was a pleasant surprise.
I cant see them anywhere on mobile me however.
They are synced in the mail app. Should be under reminders> notes on my mac.
It pretty much means you need to use mail if you want to see your notes on your computer.
Go to "System Preferences" then "Keyboard & Mouse" then "Keyboard Shortcuts."
Click the plus sign and choose the Mail application, the command and then the shortcut. A bit tedious, but gives even more flexibility than Entourage imho.
It should. My mail is set to sync via Mobile Me so when I sync my iPhone over USB with my desktop the notes show up on my laptop as well once mobileme has had a chance to sync.
In other words you have to transfer the notes from your iPhone to your computer and from there they will sync via MobileMe if you have more than one computer.
The only work around I can think of is to mail the note to yourself and it will show up under notes for your .mac address in the reminders folder.
