Battery not charging after update to OS 3.0

I am experiencing same problem the phone gets hot if i use wifi or charge it for a long time.
I try to charge and everytime its hsow lightining bolt sign but nevercharges and after few minutes the "plug" sign is displayed.
I am worried and it happened after upgrading to os 3.0

Hi! I had the same problem for a few days after installing 3.0 too! I managed to rectify it after reading other users' posts on this forum.

All you have to do is go to Settings -> Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Fetch New Data and set Push to Off.

Turning off Push might affect some apps but it made my phone a lot less hot and allowed it to charge properly. Battery life was also significantly longer.
