Cannot connect to Youtube on 2G iPhone

I have got this error for several days. I've tried restoring and not using a back up, but I still can't get the Youtube app to connect. Anyone else having this problem?

iPhone 2G, iPhone OS 3.0

Same issue for me. 2G, latest firmware.

Same here. All other apps work great... Except YouTube.

Anybody has been able to figure this out?

The only message I get is "cannot connect to YouTube".
