x2 on this one! I have about 15gbs of music on my ipod that isn't all on my pc. Having to lose all of it and redownload it is just ridiculous! If someone or even APPLE!? has a solution for this that doesn't rely on losing everything to fix a simple problem, that would be GREATLY APPRECIATED! Yet again why I stick to ipods and will NOT jump to an iphone ... None of these issues come up with the other 'replicas' come on.

I don't know why, but a 3 month old (duplicate) of Riverdance (yes, really) decided to make my iTouch both give this infernal 13019 error and later, stop acknowledging that there were any songs actually on my iTouch despite them showing up when attached in iTunes.

Deleting the copy cured both problems, which is simply amazeballs. Three thumbs up gentlepeople and thanks a ton. I too manually manage my music, and the harddrive & computer containing all of that music are no longer usable. I would have been fairly raging had I lost the lot.

One problem though; Judging by the variety of problems and the importance of being able to update/sync/use yours music, having an "unknown error" code (13019) cover the lot is rather.. unhelpful. My experience seems to suggest file corruption due to wear and tear/unsuitable songs and that the problem lies with the iPod product itself rather than iTunes, but I don't see how that can be relevant to Voice Memo's, for example.

Much gratititude again to the people that provided support.

I had the same issue. I manually manage music and convert them to lower bit rate so that i can fit more music. It would take a full day put all my music back on after a restore so I needed another solution. Thanks to the most recent posts here, my ipod is now fixed. I began to search through 5000 songs for any that had been put on twice and then thought why not check most recently added as that was when the error began. Sure enough, within the last 10 albums added, a song called 'intro' had been added twice for some reason. Deleted one, then right clicked ipod and re-synced. Problem solved... Thank you, so happy I found a simple solution in these posts

my ipod is giving 13019 error as well.

I cannot apply the given solutions because my ipod has a different library from the one on the computer. so if i re sync , all my original music on ipod gets lost and one from comp library gets added.

I have deleted the last voice memo from both ipod and the comp, still music not added to ipod even though the error doesnot show up and itunes seems to carry out sync process. does this mean no more memos and it will give error in future as well.

Please suggest solutions
