Let us know if your 3GS purchase, activation, and function are problem free

This forum is, appropriately, a repository of questions and comments from people who are having problems. It sometimes feels like everyone had (or has) one problem or another. Perhaps it would be of value for us to hear from those who have their new 3GS phone up and running problem free. Of course I understand that this forum attracts those with problems, but I also believe that many others without new phone problems are hear to read what is happening with this new product introduction.

Please leave a comment here if your purchase experience, activation, synching and use of your new 3GS has been free of major problems.

The battery life is horrible. My old 3g Iphone battery was much better

try a complete discharge and full charge to 100% for an extra hour. This seemed to get the battery to last much, much longer...

I have a new 3gs and now its activated it won't sync. The iphone icon appears in the left verticle menu but when I go to click on it nothing happens no settings or music ect ect. HELP!!!!

Went to the Apple store, bought my iPhone 3gs, activated immediately, running a week now perfectly. Couple of apps needed updates but everything works great and battery is Good all day! Thanks for making a spot for positive comments, it gets old hearing nothing but complaining. If you have a problem, make an appointment at the Apple store and they will make it good!
