Nokia N97 + iSync

Tried this as a last resort bevore returning the phone: It worked. Thanks, Marc, you saved my day: It seems to be important to export the contacts to SD card, then restore them. Nothing else worked for me (including manually deleting all contacts).

I own a N97 Mini, Sync is working but I have a little problem (maybe it's also present with the iSync plugin of the N97?):
The problem is with pictures of contacts synced to the phone, I have set pictures in the address book of the Mac, but most of them seems to have a size that the phone doesn't like (not big pictures, for example one of them is a 124x124 jpeg).
When I enter the address book of the phone, the picture is well displayed if I select a contact (in the scrolling menu of all contacts), but if I enter in a contact's details, some picture seems not to be resized, it is displayed in a smaller frame than it's size, so I don't have the full picture, only the upper left part of it.
Is it a known issue, and is it a problem with the iSync plugin (could iSync resize pictures while syncing?) or is it a bug in the firmware of the phone?

installed the new software on the phone but would not sync contacts and had some problems with the phone so i decided to install the new firmware again. all works fine now. best to sync via bluetooth as the macs prefer this.

Anyone still having problems, just use the software update tool to re-install the firmware. IT WORKS!!

trouble is, i am getting an iphone in May. 🙂

Still no iSync plugin available for the N97, most depressing after I just received one. I wish I saw this before I bought it!

Does anyone know if any of the N97 firmware updates have addressed the problem of running I Sync and a N97? There have been a few updates issued since and was wondering if anyone had tried them.

can anyone confirm FW20 allows iSync?

right i have put 2.0 on my N97, now iv ran iSync and still now connection 😟 anyone know why?

sorry, it seems the key lock interrupts the sync!?!?

the calender works fine, but contacts will not. not to sure why though...

Finally my N97 is working with isync. Firmware 12.0.026, osx 10.6.2. isync n97 plugin installed.

Sorry but, where can I find this firmware for downloading?

hi, thank you for your reply. i dont have a MSD card, so i draged the contacts off and saved onto my HDD. put them back, but still no sync 😟
