3GS and my Lamborghini - Bluetooth not working

I had a 3G till a couple of weeks back. The bluetooth worked fine with my 2009 Lamborghini Gallardo. Could make and receive call, search my phonebook, see my recent call list, etc. Everything worked fine. A couple of weeks back I upgraded my phone to a 3GS and it just cannot discover the Lamborghini. Neither can my wife's 3GS. Meanwhile the old 3G phone (which I now use as an iPod) still doscovers the Lamborghini fine, but of course its not a phone anymore, but only serves to show that the bluetooth radio in the car is working fine.

My question is: has anyone else has this problem with a Lamborghini or with an Audi R8 (I am told the R8 and Gallardo share the same navigation/audio module)?

Well, isn't NJ special! Must be all the Wall Street/Bankers spending their bailout bonus money. I'm out here is the Seattle area and while we have a lot of MS zillionaires, apparently they don't throw their don't flaunt their wealth like the guys in NJ. Must be wonderful to have 560 hp to be able to get up to 60mph quickly on the Jersey Turnpike. Excuse me if I'm not impressed.

In Redmond it's probably Hummers and/or $10,000 carbon bicycles -- or perhaps a Tesla (but maybe that's more for the Cupertino crowd!).

BTW -- it appears the original poster has not returned. Probably sold his car for one on the "3GS Compatibility List" 🙂

Well the fact that you live in Seattle probably explains why you don't see that car around...It rains there too much...who wants to drive that car in the rain..LOL...That would also explain the comment of why you would you would think people could only drive the car at 60mph on the Turnpike...LOL... To be honest, I don't even know why even post to the thread if you have never seen one...obviously you know nothing about the car so why bother..YOUR BETTER THAN THAT...????????

Maybe some of the rich folk there in Seattle should buy a nice sports car and drive it fast..it would help release some endorphins...maybe help out with the seasonal depression disorder out there...

haha, great thread. People snipping at each other over flaunting wealth.

I believe the iphone's bluetooth capability just blows in general. I have issues with my Nissan Altima. Worked perfectly on my last phone(verizon), but not so great on the iphone. I can't listen to voicemails through bluetooth, I think that has to do with the fact that the iphone downloads the VMs to the phone while my Verizon phone would actually call and connect to a server to listen to them? Also sometimes when receiving calls in my car I'll answer the call thru my car but then it will disconnect or something, kind of weird. Not a huge deal but kind of sad that my old POS phone worked so much better than my high end iphone.
