In reply to David I do think that there should be a form or email address to contact hosts directly. Starting a new thread for each request is kind of a kludge.
As it is, maybe one in twelve new topics to this forum completely ignores the big red 'read before posting' notice & is clearly not feedback about Discussions. Of the remainder, maybe 60 to 75% ask questions that anyone who reads the Terms of Use & the announcements can answer. It is common for new Discussions users to believe Discussions is some sort of direct link to Apple support personnel even though the root level Discussions page clearly explains what it is for. In this forum, maybe 75% of the topics specifically requesting host intervention don't require it, usually because it is a request for something like changing an alias that can't be done (which anyone bothering to read the announcements would discover) or to report a post as in appropriate (which anyone reaching level 2 can do directly from the page with the post).
The point of all these assorted observations is that if there was a way to email the hosts directly, they would receive massive numbers of them, almost all of which would be about something unrelated to a request only the hosts could or should deal with privately, regardless of how carefully or clearly any notice was worded about the appropriate use of that form of contact. If the hosts had to deal with this on an email by email basis, they would have little time for anything else, including bona fide requests like yours.
