Safari doesn't show Google Images

When I search for something on Google Images, the page loads with no problem, except for the images, they stay blank. But when I click on them, they open with no problem.
Same thing happens with Altavista.com, page loads just like it should, but images stay blank.
It's not the first time I have this, had the same problems under Leopard too. Already tried deleting cash, cookies and history.
Sometimes it's fixed for a while, but it always comes back.
I would really appreciate it if somebody would have a solution for this.

My solution (after trying every other possibility) was to change the settings in my router/modem Firewall from high protection to medium protection. Then the problem was solved. So in my opinion the problem originated inside the router/modem (KPN Xperia modem Siemens). Why my other MacBook didn't face the same problem at all in the first place remains a mystery. But it works flawless now!

I have had this same problem periodically for a while with my iMac, both with Tiger & Snow Leopard. I never did get to the bottom of it on Tiger, but it went away when I changed DNS server settings from openDNS back to my ISPs - but now it's back again after upgrading to Snow Leopard.
I have changed my network settings to/from DHCP back to static IPs, restarted my modem/router, restarted my mac, tried other accounts on my iMac, reset Safari (cleared out cache, history etc etc), but nothing can persuade it to work.
I'm wondering if its a problem with firewall settings, but haven't had chance to investigate that yet.
My Macbook on the same network, running Leopard, does not have the problem.
Sorry I'm not much help, but at least it's reassurance that you're not the only one with the problem.

I tried out Firefox 3.5 and Opera 10 today. Went with both browsers to images.google.com and searched for the same thing, and both couldn't (just like Safari) show the images. It's getting really frustrating! And this clearly shows that the problem isn't within Safari, and won't be fix with an update. But maybe it's something in the OS or in my router. And I would really appreciate it if someone could help me out with this problem.

BTW another strange thing, my girlfriend did the same thing with her newer MacBook Pro, and she had the same problem. (She also works on Snow Leopard).
