Safari doesn't show Google Images

When I search for something on Google Images, the page loads with no problem, except for the images, they stay blank. But when I click on them, they open with no problem.
Same thing happens with Altavista.com, page loads just like it should, but images stay blank.
It's not the first time I have this, had the same problems under Leopard too. Already tried deleting cash, cookies and history.
Sometimes it's fixed for a while, but it always comes back.
I would really appreciate it if somebody would have a solution for this.

hi all, hi everybody..
i am a new user of mac, i bought macbook pro 13" last month, just like everybody said, it`s great, lots of money but really good, what i am doing now is keep learning every thing about my mac, still in original condition, nothing great application i have because i don`t really know how to use it, and i don`t know what it use to,
since i clean the history on the safari, then when i try to open apple.com with safari, it won`t open full, always missing pictures, not fully shown up, then i download firefox, i try to open apple.com again , it just easy and fully show the images,everything...
why this happened..?? by the way, safari is still doing great for any sites, only apple.com i`m having problem with it.
Is anybody can help me for this solution..??

Wow, many thanks Ruraltim for your tip.
Works like a dream on my USR router firewall setting.

The many errors that always showed up on a page load by Google maps showed up in the activities overview as 'network connection is broken'. A Google maps page would easily have 40 or so of these messages showing in red. Now that's weird, why would the network connection be broken 40 times within a few seconds...
Some other forums already hinted me in the direction
