LX3+RAW+APERTURE=NO SUPPORT!

There must be a reason for this, the camera has been out for over a year and still no RAW support for the LX3!

Is it laziness? Conspiracy? Bad blood? Somebody somewhere knows why.

Anyone?

Well, folks, here's an interesting development…

I just plugged in my GF1 and opened iPhoto, and for the first time, *I saw thumbnails* of all my RAW photos alongside their companion JPEGs.

I couldn't actually import them, mind you, but they +actually showed up+ on the import selection screen. The info shown for them includes filename, date, time, kind (RW2_), dimensions, and filesize show up.

Weirdly, the pixel dimensions are INCORRECT: shown as 1920 x 1440, should be 4000x3000.

I find myself oddly encouraged by this development, although I don't really dare hope.
