Snow Leopard-Exchange Mail: duplicate messages

I'm adding another similar issue to this.. I installed snow leopard last week, then the 'server not found' messages started appearing on the outgoing messages - I changed the port to 25 as their KB article described, but today, all messages in my inbox (71 total) duplicated all at once... it was like one minute they are not there, the next they are... any help to prevent this from happening again would be appreciated...

I am having the same problem. They appear, then disappear, then reappear and then duplicate. It's not a problem in webmail, my iPhone and or my Blackberry. I would love some help on this because it is extremely frustrating and I am going to have to resort to Entourage soon.

I'm having the same problem. I've deleted the MessageUidsAlreadyDownloaded3 and tried about everything else mentioned. Everything was fine before I just upgraded to Snow Leopard yesterday. Completely unbelievable. I can't believe I paid $30 to Apple so that I could spend the next 24hrs PLUS troubleshooting!!! My harddrive is rapidly filling up with duplicate email messages. I'm at the end of my rope and want my $30 and the last 24hrs of my life back. 😟

I've seen this twice.
Filed bug reports with Apple on it.

I am having the exact same problem. All new Mail is appearing as duplicates. If I delete one, it deletes both. However, if I undo the change, only one copy comes back. I am also getting an error on some messages that they cannot be moved to the deleted items mailbox.

Here are the some stats on my Exchange server if that helps.

Mailbox server Microsoft Exchange Version: 8.1.240.0
Microsoft Exchange Client Access Server Version: 8.1.240.0
Client Access Server Operating System Version: Microsoft Windows NT 6.0.6002 Sp2
Exchange Client Access server .NET Framework Version: 2.0.50727.4016

My Mac Mail configuration options:

Account Type: Exchange 2007
Internal Server: Assigned to the OUtlook Web Access Host Name
External Server: Not assigned
Use SSL: Yes

I am having the same issues with Exchange 2007 Mail accessing with Snow Leopard. MobileMe and other email accounts are not receiving duplicates. My iPhone and webmail do not reflect duplicates, as stated previously, when one of the duplicates is deleted from Mail, both are moved.

I am having the same problem with MacMail, I am getting duplicates of 20 of the same emails, this started happening two weeks after I installed snow leopard. I have three emails setup on it and it is happening to all of them. How do we fix this?

I'm have a similar problem, though it also includes a Blackberry. After I added my exchange email account to Mac Mail I've received duplicate emails to my blackberry from this account. If I close Mac Mail I don't receive duplicates. Sorta odd, but any insight?

I have had a similar experience - but if I, while connected to server, exit from Mail (and I am using the Leopard - not Snow Leopard) and then restarted it cleared out the duplicates.

For those that have this problem - does anything change when you do this?

Same problem here. No duplicates in MobileMe or Gmail, just my exchange server and only on unread emails. Does not appear on iPhone. Get the same bug on both my iMac and MB.

I have the same problem with my comcast (POP) account. The problem started with a snow leopard upgrade. I do have an exchange account configured, but I've taken it permanently off-line.

Same problem here - Comcast and Gmail.
