3.1 Double Clicking trouble

On my 1st gen touch: Since the 3.1 upgrade, when I have music playing, double clicking home still brings up music controls, but when music is not playing nothing happens. Anybody know how to fix this? I can't get music started without closing an app now.

I'm not 100% sure you're right there, AAPL. I'm sending the same complaint for more eyes among consumers -- you know, those of us who bought Apple products. In one of the threads I contributed to, I already specifically gave the same URL you're sending along on every thread you've followed me on. I'm doing the same work you're doing, but I'm doing it more so because it bothers me as a user of this feature and I want as many people as possible to know about it. Plus, I'm not so sure I'm making the "complaint" anymore. I think I'm well within my right to converse about this "bug" or "feature" among people who are similarly bothered by it in hopes that some new light is shed on the matter.

Creating more threads on the SAME issue will likely only get them deleted.
Let the main one stay.
I'm not "following you" I'm merely trying to guide the threads in a way that will actually HELP.
It was a change that was made.
We can banter about it day and night and it won't change unless Apple gets enough reason to make the change back.
They may NEVER change it back - but that's all we can do about it.

Except no, they shouldn't get deleted. I discovered this issue independently of the other existing threads, and only once I posted and someone said it was already mentioned in a few other threads did I realize that the issue is more widespread than I thought. Plus, I'm not repeating myself in either thread. If I was spamming, sure, I'd understand the removal of my posts, at least, but I did a search and found out it was a widespread issue. Any forum moderator who uses this logic to delete these is missing the point that it actually bugs a lot of people and that they'll likely mention it here. I doubt this is it for these complaints either; I wouldn't be surprised if others found the same problem in the future and reported it.

If you say that these other threads will be deleted, I'm sorry but I think you'r underestimating the moderators here. They were posted on different days and have different forum participants.
