Apple Application Support is required to run iTunes.

On first execution after a clean install of iTunes 9, this error message:

*Apple Application Support was not found.*

*Apple Application Support is required to run iTunes. Please uninstall iTunes, then install iTunes again.*

*Error 2*

Can't run iTunes. Already reboot, reinstall, blah blah blah. Windows Vista 32.

Recommendations?

Another green hear.

I decided to clean some of my excessive programs and I uninsulated the Apple Application Support. Didn't mean to. Error 2 comes up, unable to download a serial# it asks for . I don't have one. Cant download Quick or itunes material of course. E-mailed Apple no adequate response so far.I viewed all the replies on this thread not sure what to do. Any suggestions on how to reinstall the application? Please help. Thank you.

Running Window 7. downloaded iTunes 9. it wouldnt get rid of old log on info, so i deleted the registry keys. Make a long story short i jacked it all up. gave me the "Apple Application Support was not found" Cr4 has the solution!!!

right click on iTunessetup
i clicked repair on everyone of the files

It WORKS yay!!!
