I've tried all this with WinRaR and installed all the components in various orders. My issue seems to come when specifically installing the AppleApplication Support when just before it publishes the files, I get the following error message:

An error occured during the installation of assembly 'Microsoft.VC80.CRT,version="8.0.50727.4053",type="win32", public KeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",process or Architecture="x86". Please refer to help and support for more information.HRESULT:0x800736B3.

Any ideas at all would be greatly appreciated!!!

That's the same thing that came up when I was trying to repair the Apple application support with WinRAR. Apple needs to do something....we shouldn't have to go through all this just to put songs on our Ipods....i am a teenager and i never met up with a problem with the computer I couldn't fix without just doing a few pushing of buttons and clicking. Not even my dad can think of what to do and he is an engineer at Texas Instruments. This is really getting annoying....watch out Apple...I might trade my ipod in for a zune...ha ha ha...I just might if I have to deal with this any longer. >XD

Yeah I've been having the same issue here (obviously) and as Shihmale stated, I'm getting that same exact error. Ran it down to the registry. Went to regedit (as I found to do http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w7programs/thread/1099136a-03df -4da4-966c-5a4e56b8f202 <Here) and looked for the "registry size limit" registry and of course, to my luck, I have no such registry in the control folder. This has gone beyond that of what I have seen other's problems go. I have tried literally all steps, except for reinstalling windows which I would really like not to do seeing as I JUST did it all yesterday (7 Ultimate) and have about 200 gigs of data I downloaded and installed this morning, to have to go back and reinstall just to have iTunes QuickTime and Safari is utterly pointless...

I can't even watch some videos on the internet without this **** application.

Again I HAVE TRIED the method involving WinRAR, uninstalling the apps multiple times and installing them separately multiple times, performing the steps in the Microsoft boards link I provided and I have come to a brick wall at the part where one is supposed to find the "Registry Size Limit" registry... Again I have literally NO registry named that. If anyone could lend a hand I'd be utterly grateful.

EDIT: I created a key and named it RegistrySizeLimit and made the value 0xFFFFFFFF

Restarting computer now, let you know the result.
