My Lacie lightscriber burner does not work now.

I was able to use the dvd burner to burn the disks but when I went to use the lightscribe software to burn a label on it, it came out all black.
I looked at the preview before I printed it and sure enough it was all black.
Of course there is no update on the Lacie website for snow leapard.
I have to print out 4 disks for weddings I just finished and I can't

Is there another good lightscribe software program that will work on the Lacie?

macbook pro, Mac OS X (10.5.5), 3 gig

Two or three repeat burns will give the label greater contrast, but I have found it best to do second or third burns without removing the disk from the labeler. If the disc is removed for checking the image and then reinserted for a second burn, the image may be offset from the first image, resulting in a doubled label image. I suggest leaving the disc in the labeler without removing it for a second or third repetition to darken the image.

Hi guys,

I am keen to upgrade my OS to 10.6.1. But is this Lacie Lightscriber burner issue is resolve and proven that it really work on 10.6.1??? Can anyone confirm it? I did wrote in to LaCie last month back and their reply was they can not confirm with me that the driver/software able to run well on 10.6.0/1 and will check with their R&D department on this issue.

Hello Sir,

for the moment, we cannot yet garantee the compatibility of the new Appel OS with our burners.
As far as we know, the bundled Roxio soft are not compatible, and for the moment, our software departement is working on the Lightscribe labeller.
I invite you to check regularly on our website if any patch available for the Snow leopard drivers.
