Defeat Logic's auto CC1 reset?

Hi All,
Was wondering if there is a way in the clicks & ports to defeat Logic automatically resetting CC1 to zero on play or stop.

Thanks

BTW, if you want to see what messages are really sent to a plugin you may use the MIDI monitor which is available in Kontakt as utility script.

Thanks for the tip!
It does all seem a bit messy, yes. And being able to control the controllers is a vital aspect of using MIDI to the fullest, so I now need to know...

Hi there, I foóund thid in the audiobro forum and it helped me 🙂

Hi,

Unless I've missed something, I have a solution to your problem. First of all , it only resets when you record the modulation wheel.

In the inspector window of the arrange page, there is a box at the bottom of the instrument window under "no transpose" called "no reset". click on this and the modulation wheel won't reset. You have to do this for every channel I haven't explored to see if this will produce some other unwanted results, but it works for this issue.

Love the library, excited about the update!

As it was mentioned before, the whole thing is a big mess and the developer don't seem to care.
Why? because it is MIDI related and the development/improvement in that area has stopped since Logic7 or earlier, just look at the Environment.

The Developer seem to concentrate mainly on new Audio tools (Flex, Swipe Editing, Amp simulation) instead of cleaning up the legacy mess. The whole MIDI Reset commands treat External MIDI and Software Instruments MIDI differently with different settings, plus some general preferences. Throw in a few bugs on top of it and the result is as un-Logic-al as it gets. If you check for how many years this mess has been ignored then you get the picture, a sad one, a very sad one.
