My Macbook keeps disconnecting itself from the internet

Recently, I bought a Macbook Pro in September and ever since I got it, the connection with the internet have been weird. It keeps disconnecting itself from the internet. I know it's not my router or home internet because my Touch and other laptops have a consistent connection. The Airport icon has a full bar. I can reconnect, but I have to go to Network Diagnostics constantly to connect back to the internet, only to be disconnected 10 seconds later.

Out of desperation, I figured I do a clean install of Snow Leopard (why not since my Macbook is new anyways)! The problem is still there, the Macbook is updated to Version 10.6.1. Can someone help please? Is it my network settings? Is anyone else having this problem? Ahhhh

I'm also experiencing this problem with my O2 router.
I experience drops in connection every half hour or so. It seems to have been caused by 10.6.2, as it is only since having installing this that I have experienced the problem.
It seems to be fine until data transfer stops, and then it inexplicably drops.
Any solution would be greatly appreciated - I'm struggling with my work and am beginning to get pretty annoyed (as much as a I love Apple!)

This is what I sent to Mac Feedback:

My computer randomly disconnects from my time capsule which is also my wireless router. The connection is lost to the internet as well as from time capsule itself thus it does not complete any back ups during this period. I've turned the time capsule on and off, as well as the incoming modem (Verizon Fios) as well as disconnecting and re-connecting airport. Also note that my other Mac, and iBook G4 remains connected during that time. I also went to network preferences and chose my network again. None of these "fixes" have any effect. The computer may or may not randomly reconnect in anywhere from 1 minute to 1 day. Needless to say, VERY frustrating. It's apparent given the many messages on the support forum that I'm NOT the only one with this issue.

Hi Guys, I bough my Mac almost two years ago. All this time I have experienced the same issue. There are tons of discussions re this issue in the internet. Unfortunately, Apple has done nothing to fix it. I have tried a lot of different options, but they work no longer then 1-2 days. The official fix - does not exist so far. It is quit strange, isn't? I can share my experience: if you go to AirPort Utility - Manual Setup - Wireless and then change Channel, it could help you till the moment you restart your computer; next time you need to repeat it again. It takes 2 minutes. Not sure that it would work for you but you could give it a try. Well, not the best option. Anyway Apple must fix it asap! Hello Apple, do you hear me? Good luck.

Well, if you've had the computer for less than a year and they can't fix the problem (My new 17"MacPro disconnects when idle for a period of time), aren't they obliged to give you a new computer?

Would you be good enough to be more specific about this update? The news hasn't traveled across the pond as yet, but it sems to be a miraculous update.
