How do I batch Convert from 32 to 24 bit

Is it with Wave burner if so, Please let me know. When i use Waveburner it does it to 16 bits. Please help. Thank you! These samples are for eventual use inside EXS

iMac intel Duo Core 2.4, Mac OS X (10.5.2), 4 gig, Motu MkII, Krk Vxt6

i seem to have done it with compressor. So is going from 44 to 48 and 16/32 to 24... without any dithering is cool?

I gotta say... much easier than itunes method... thanks Bee Bee though

There's a handy app called MAX that does audio batch conversions. It's fast and has tons of format options including some obscure ones.

Personally I use Bias Peak to batch stuff, it'll take care of most audio events that you can throw at it.

The other day for example I batched 250 Jungle loops from 170bpm to around 130 to get them back the original old skool breakbeats they had been before somebody pillaged them for a commercial Drum and bass sample CD ( tut tut... mentioning no names )

Set it away, made a cup of tea, came back, done... can't argue with that.

LOL ^ i tried bias, but it doesnt let u batch right if things are in different rates, also it doesnt accept 32bit, maybe the new ones do. Thanks ill see about MAX. who makes it

I thought SoundConverter would do this too, but it doesn't seem to like 32-bit files, but MAX worked perfectly.

lol, looks like this thing can convert impulse responses that are in SDII form. Yikes
