Using the latest version of everything
Firefox seems to work fine for editing the description for listing ebay items but in Safari you can't even hit return to skip to the next line
A lot of features are missing in Safari compared to Firefox when listing an item. How is this an ebay problem?
There are issues with the listing editor in Safari
I would rather Apple updates Safari
this IS NOT A EBAY PROBLEM
id rather apple fixed their software
Im sure there would be similiar sites that arent compatible with safari
Safari doesn't work properly when listing items on Ebay. Fix it.

" . . . try Safari and OSX maintenance and if that fails, then try an archive and install. Because there is nothing wrong with Safari 4.0.4 and ebay, or else this forum would be inundated with thousands upon thousands of users complaining and that is not the case."
Something, somewhere certainly seems not to be working though.
I imagine Safari will be compatible with eBay some day
Certainly, given Safari's checkered history interfacing with eBay, it's safe to assume that it's Apple's responsibility to isolate the problem and fix it in future OS and/or Safari updates.
You might want to moderate your tone a bit; I've seen posts get reported for just the sort of impatience and sarcasm you're employing.
Perhaps your problem runs deeper and you should start your own thread as a lot of other users would just read the OP's rude and blunt first post and look no further through this thread.
