Although Alexander sings the praises of the DLink 120 as being trouble-free on Mac OS X (he's right), the problem with the DLink 120 is that it is NOT version 2, NOT class 1 (100 m), and (I think) does NOT support A2DP. If DLink were to rectify all these shortcoming in a hardware revision, it would be a sight better adapter and much less prone to interference than it is now. There are now quite a few version 2 adapters out there (Toshiba, Celltech, Planex, Princeton to name a few) but Apple made a shortsighted decison to only support the DLink as third party with Firmware Updater 1.2 and Bluettoh 1.5 and DLink has let the 120 fall way behind the technology curve. If you want version 2, the only way now seems to be to buy a new PowerBook or iMac.
Somebody needs to bite the bullet and start writing OS X drivers for all the non-DLink adapters with better functions and standards than the aging DLink 120. A good open source project for someone?
