When will i5 and i7 Quad Core iMacs actually be shipped? Pages

Yes, I believe this is also good news for resellers, at least for some. I originally ordered my iMac from a reseller in Hungary. This was on November 16th. So I already waited my 3 months. Problem is, when I confirmed my order, I was told to wait 3-4 weeks. Anyway, I blame Apple for this, not the reseller (although I know about another 2 resellers from Hungary who delivered i7 iMacs in mid January...). So, long story short: after a bit of research on the internet, I noticed that quite a few resellers (from all over Europe) were getting i7s. So I sent a few emails, and now there is a sweet i7 iMac waiting for me to pick it up on Monday. I feel bad for the reseller I originally ordered from, but I really need a new machine, and I just can't afford to wait any longer.

That's another confirmation that shipping times are getting close to normal. Does yours have any issues?

Things are getting better. Ordered mine (i7) Feb13. Shipped Feb 19.

Thanks for the reply vvw. Im just confused why apple premium resellers take 2-3 months to deliver while apple store is only 2 weeks. Sadly i cannot cancel my purchase from the reseller.Things are quite slow here in singapore.I guess i have to wait

Well, I finally couldn't wait any longer. Ordered my i7 on Wed morning 2/17. I received tracking number and it was shipped late eve on 2/18. Original delivery date was 3/5 and that has been changed to 2/25 from China. I hope everything else goes as well as the shipping turnaround time.

Hey, guys!

I finally got my hands on an iMac! Its huge, its awesome, its a Mac! I haven't been able to find any of the common issues in it. I did find the super drive a bit noisy when I inserted a CD, but it did not scratch it, and it worked OK. I can't find any yellow tint on the display, and so far I did not notice any flickering. It's my first Mac so I can't compare it to anything. All in all I'm happy with it.
