Account Password Field Too Small

Hi I have changed a account password and the new password has more caracters than I can type when at the login window... have any of you had such problem? At the moment I cannot login in that account. Thanks!

I have never had to perform this maneuver, but Isn't this the perfect opportunity to perform a Password Reset with your Mac OS X Installation DVD?

Insert your Mac OS X DVD.
Reboot and hold down the C key.
At the Welcome splash screen, go up to the Utilities menu and select "Reset Password".
Then choose the account in question.

Busted! It's amazing how often these password difficulties happen to people who don't have the original discs.

No. Anything that has been encrypted with FileVault will be completely and permanently inaccessible to anyone unless the correct password can be entered.

Just in case you all being a little curious (cause I am!) try creating an account with a password like:

!Abcdefghijk 12345678

and see whether you can login.

Sorry, that war really unclear. I do not have the Master Password. Thats why my only chance to get into the locked account is managing to use the account password I've set!
