2 years later and this work around still works. Would've thought Epson would've sorted it out by now though. It worked for my Epson TX600FW and i'm running OSX 10.6.8

Hi, I tried to do this, but was unable to complete step 5- the original printer (Epson NX420) did not appear in the drop down list, or the duplicate, and I am unable to enter it anywhere. Any ideas of how to add the printer again?Thanks

Have just spent hours trying figure out how to print using Wi Fi from my imac to my epsonSX425W. Had same problem as others with message printer is offline but knowing it wasn't.Followed your instructions and it worked immeadiatly. :-)))))))

Hey, your solution works just fine even with MAC OS X V 10.7.2 for Epson ME 900WD printer sold in Asia region 🙂 Thanks a for your steps on configuring printer to print via Wireless.

i am using windows 7, cant seem to find where i can get to SYSTEM PREF and the reset printing etc

Oh no ;( Sittcomme's advice helped me once, but not any more. There is no duplicate printer to choose and my Epson is always offline.

This was really a mistake to buy that Epson ****!! Although it was very cheap. I already bought more ink... but I don't want to use that machine any more!!

hi, you have any solution to printing to epson L100 that is networked. I am using macbook pro and connected to the network via lan. other windows runned pc can print using the shared printer. however, i cannot. I am the only one using apple in our office for now. Any suggestions? thanks.
