My Registered Products

In the case of the Iphone, when stolen, I would like to check to see if it has been re registered having been stolen

Thanks for the links. Anybody knows why the two links: https://selfsolve.apple.com/GetAgreements.do and https://selfsolve.apple.com/EXPERT/GetProductList.do give different lists of registered products? e.g. I see two iPhones registered with the first url but only one with the second.

The first is a list of registered AppleCare agreements; the second is a list of registered hardware products. Do you have a registered AppleCare agreement for only one of the phones? If you bought AppleCare for both, are you certain that you registered both AppleCare agreements after buying them?

My understanding is that if you buy AppleCare coverage for a product at the same time you buy the product, and the purchase is made at an Apple retail store or the Apple online store, then the product and the agreement are automatically registered. But if you buy AppleCare separately from the device it's to cover, you need to register the AppleCare plan yourself. And if you buy either or both from a third-party vendor (a reseller), then nothing is auto-registered. If anyone knows I'm incorrect about any of this, please correct me.

Settle down eew. No one is trying to pull a fast one. I had mine stolen and didn't register it or keep the original packaging and I was on the up and up wanting to know what my S/N was. I would like to see what is registered to me also.

NovaJenn: See the post at or near the end of this thread from Chryorchid. I believe what s/he has linked is a new service from Apple that should tell you what you need to know, provided your machine was registered. If it wasn't, you're probably out of luck.
