Time Capsule and 2Wire 2701 HG

Hello I am about to purchase a Time Capsule and am wondering if anyone can provide me with detailed setup instructions to use this with my 2Wire 2701 HG

Now we can find the network and connect to it but safari says you are not connected to the Internet

Sorry, that is something that I cannot help with since I don't have a 2Wire router here to confirm any instructions.

You should not have needed to make any changes to your 2Wire router and I provided instructions based on the assumption that you were adding the Time Capsule, not making changes to the 2Wire.

I suggest that you first get your 2Wire router back to normal condition, the same as before you added the Time Capsule. Post back when you have the 2Wire back to normal and I can provide step by step instructions for the Time Capsule configuration.

i got it to work now but on my macbook the internet is super slow and spped is normal on imac

This worked with the 2wire 1800HG as well. Thank you. I always tried to bridge the dsl router and then run PPPoE thru TC, but we always had issues. This worked great.
