iTunes Error 42408 After 9.03 Upgrade

I am receiving the error 42408 after upgrading to 9.03. Google did not yield any results. The error appears attempting to authorize my Powerbook.

PowerBook G4, Mac OS X (10.5.8)

I tried Roy B's first solution (eject iPod, quit, then re-open iTunes, play protected AAC, then connect iPod). Worked fine afterwards.

Before I couldn't even purchase a song from the iTunes store. When I re-authorized the computer, I got a message that the computer was already authorized. I hope this solution sticks.
