Anyone who has installed the new update (3.1.3): any issues with it?

The update just killed my iPod! It shows cable+itunes screen and Im unable to restore! What is happening with Apple? I had problems with the Snow Leopard update too!

Steve Jobs should know these things!

I can't say there's a direct correlation, but I installed 3.1.3 w/o any problems. I am not able to sync two (2) iTune music purchases. Looks like I'll call iTunes support since I've tried all the previous suggestions.

I've been trying to update to 3.1.3, itunes start working good, but when is finish, ir gives me a message that it took too long, that the download did not work.

3.1.3 has broken multiple "smart" playlists. They show up in iTunes, but wont transfer to my ipod touch, tried deleting them, remaking them, all kinds of crap, but no luck, they just wont transfer.. how do i get back to 3.1.2??

This is an update to my previous reply re: the 3.1.3. software. In my case, the songs would not sync because "Sync" was not "checked" in the Music Folder.

Apps not working so far - SimCity (paid), Wifi Analyser (paid), Engadget (free), Scany (paid), eWifi (free), iBomber (free).

I had to delete and re-install all the apps that weren't working. All is fine now.

I have the same problem with the exception of the error code of 1604. Any help available?

I had a 2002 error, noticed that the light on my USB hub went out just before the message.
Put the USB directly to the PC and it worked fine, but took over 2 hours to restore.

I can't play any music. it starts to play, then after 20 sec to a minute it closes and my music wont play. Does weird stuff with my podcast too. not too happy

I am having the same issue as Roman is. All looks ok in iTunes but iTouch is screwing up. My playlists are not correct. They're crossing each other. Some are ok, but others even say they're empty. What's going on? Has anyone successfully down graded to 3.1.2?

My daughter installed it on her 2nd gen iPod Touch and now the car stereo (with a dedicated iPod mode) reports "This accessory is not supported by your iPod" where it worked before.

It wrecked my ipod completely... it turns on but i only see the apple logo, its not recognized by my itunes... i cant access it in anyway....

HELP!!! I just had it checked at an mac store, becuse of another problem and they said everythign was perfect with my ipod...

One issue, actually. It's kind of a big one. I've lost the volume slider at the bottom of my screen on my iPod 1g. It's just gone. I already called Apple support and they told me to go into my iPod Software Updates folder and delete the 3.1.3 file, then put my iPod into restore and it'll go and download a new file because that one was corrupt. Well, I did it and I'm still missing my volume bar. It just updated from 2.2.1 so, is this something that has been employed for the newer iPod versions? If so it's really stupid and leaves the rest of us high and dry.

EDIT: Please disregard this, the volume bar has returned with no issues. Weird.

In the previous OS 3.1.2, the volume slider would only be visible if the headphones were plugged in. In 3.1.3, is it visible even when the headphones are not plugged in?
