My home page www.apple.com/startpage loading problem

Whenever I start Safari, it opens my home page, www.apple.com/startpage, but it takes a lot until loaded completely.
On the status bar I get a message to open Window/Activity and there i see indeed a problem with opening the page.
Well, any idea how to fix this? It drives me crazy....

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.2)

Curiouser and curiouser... I went ahead and filled out the Apple homepage feedback form and let them know. So odd...

Last two weeks i have noticed the following error in activity when starting up safari it is not a problem but would be great to know how to fix.

Safari can’t open the page “ http://c2c738.r.axf8.nethttp://images.apple.com/mr/a.gif?a=C2C738&v=1” because Safari can’t find the server “c2c738.r.axf8.nethttp”

Hi

you can't 'fix' it - Apple's site is telling your browser to load content from a non-existent server...

c2c738.r.axf8.nethttp

perhaps it's meant to be c2c738.r.axf8.net

but nothing the user can do about it

I see a few people reporting near identical issues with websites other than apple - so it's likely a content distribution or tracking thing gone awry.

Report bug to apple via safari and note that. The more of us that do that, the more they might fix it. The problem does not seem to be on the user end..

I also went to Best Buy (which has an Apple kiosk) and tested there...same results.
