iTunes 9.1 fails to install with Bonjour service on Windows 7 x64 Ultimate

I've updated my iTunes + Quicktimes version on my Windows 7 Ultimate x64 system several times in the past without issues via the Help, Check for Updates, Install option.

Now with iTunes 9.1, I keep getting a "Bonjour Failed to Start" error. The funny thing is I can stop, start, etc.. the Bonjour service before I try the installation. After the installation it won't work anymore. It keeps erroring out.

I even tried uninstalling iTunes, Quicktime, Bonjour, etc.. and starting from scratch, but I keep getting the same error. I also tried the Manual install option from Tools, Download and still the same error.

It appears there is something wrong with iTunes 9.1, since I have iTunes 9.0.3 installed just fine without any issues.

Any thoughts?

Here's the error from Event Viewer on my PC:

Hi -- I am experiencing the same problem with itunes -- except I am still running Vista. I followed the directions, and uninstalled everything, and then deleted my temp directory. I shut down my firewall, and kept trying to install, but I get the Bonjour message -- I checked in my programs, and Bonjour isn't even there. Any other suggestions???

Thanks, Amber
