Sync Server Not Working Error

I have not had a problem with my new iPod Touch syncing since I bought it. Yesterday I downloaded the new recommended version of iTunes and now I can't seem to get my iPod to sync to iTunes. It keeps telling my that my SyncServer has stopped working. Don't know what that means or how to fix it.

I have the same trouble with the new itunes download. I have a 8gb Itouch, it has always worked OK before. I get the syncserver has stopped working followed by mdcrashreporttool has stopped working. The info tab on my itouch is blank and will not let me tick or select anything. It is so annoying not being able to sync contacts and calendar. I use Outlook 2007. I have tried all the suggestions that I can find, totally removed itunes and quicktime, re-installed. Checked my firewall etc. Restored my itouch.
Lost count of the times I have shutdown and restarted.
I was going to get an Iphone last Saturday but this happened to me Friday and I am totally put off.

I had the same problem with my iPhone which reset to factory setting so lost everything. So been very mad i rang O2 tonight who have took me though a list of possible problems and changed some files on my computer. My iphone can now sync and all seems ok at the moment,Thank god for back up, but not happy with iTunes as it seems to be the new update.
So try contacting your network operator. it took over 30 minutes with O2 but it worked for me. Good Luck.

I seem to have the same problem, every time I plug my iPod Touch into iTunes I get the following message:
" iTunes was unable to load provider data from Sync Services. Reconnect or try again later."

This only started on Saturday after I received an update but don't know how to resolve it short of deleting iTunes and starting again.

Seems to be a common error across platforms and devices. I have an I-phone and Windows Vista and since the recent upgrade to the latest version of Itunes my phone won't sync. I wouldn't mind except that this is my work device so all my appointments are missing, which makes working on the road next to impossible.

Apple you really screwed the pooch on this one.

My hope was to install the previous version of 9.0, however, I now get an error that reads 'The file"i Tunes Library.itl" cannot be read because it was created by a newer version of i Tunes'.

Apple you s#*k.
