Having the same output volume level on all tracks!

I'm trying to have all the tracks that i recorded sounding with the same volume level. I don't want some songs sounding lower or louder than others ....... (ALL OF THEM THE SAME), except for the fades in/out. I thought of using the adaptive limiter but not so sure about that. Any suggestions!
ps. I thought of starting a new thread since i didn't find my answer.

Please clarify the following :

Track = ??? a mixed stereo file, or a multitrack project with many audio tracks?

If it's the first definition, then you need to learn MASTERING, or better yet, go pay a real mastering engineer, spread the love, spread the bread...

Cheers

Well, you should though.

ps. you mean control - shift to adjust the fader right?

No. I mean move the plastic thingy with the cable on it so that the arrow pointer on the computer screen comes in very close proximity to one of these buggers here:

Then, press your index finger on the plastic thingy and keep holding it down. Now, with the finger still pressed, move the plastic thingy towards or away from you. This will change the volume so you like it more. Once you like it, lift your index finger from the plastic thingy. Repeat this for all tracks.

Yeah...you're probably going to get a collection of sarcastic responses, mainly because what you're asking about is one of the fundamental concepts of audio mixing. You shouldn't have any trouble understanding how to do what you're asking.

Maybe you're not articulating it well either. I'm still incredulous as to what you're asking about.

If the concept of mixing escapes you, what are you doing using Logic in the first place?

It's like asking someone to show you how to steer a car and while you're opening the trunk and sitting backwards in the boot. Technically, you're in the car ready to go, but you're not going to get far.

Seriously though, do you have any idea how to use Logic at all? Knowing what level you're at with the application will help people help you.

you can keep your comments for yourself unless you want to start another thread. It's clear understanding that you guys didn't understand my question. First of all, the pics shown above refers to volume channel in the mixer, it doesn't take a genius to identify it. If i wanted to do it manually tracks by tracks i would've done it without posting this thread. I don't think you guys know what you're doing, move over and let the experts come into this, cause you don't know a **** thing. Maybe you didn't read the all topic, it that so, it's ok you got your sarcastic moment

again read the entire thread instead of being sarcastic. First of all what you shew me here on the picture is not a fader slider, but the volume itself of a track located in the mixer. It doesn't take a genius to get it. Faders are totally different things, i think you need to do some research about that. It's clear to me that you guys know nothing lol. At the same time you wasting time to other people who might have the same issue and are trying to solve it.

i think you forgot your glasses, like i said i'm gonna adjust the fades at the end after adjusting the volume of the song

now let me show, this is a fader http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2776/450318657123d90f06c2o.png

oooops and i don't even need to press ctrl and all the keybords buttons to move the faders. That is so cool right.

ps. Please read the all thread.

Sorry to break it to you, but that's not a fader. That's a fade. In professional audio terminology, what you call a 'volume slider' is actually called, and has always been called, a fader.

So, now that's cleared up, over the rest of you guys. I'm much more enjoying watching this one from the sidelines.
