error 404 406
Hi I could open my photo workshop website 2 days ago and my friends can so its not the site? but now I get a error 404 406 when I go there? please help!!!

my ISP says they can't help me so I'm trying to figure it out myself I was just on there 2 days ago?
I've even restored safari with TM but it still doesn't work?

I didn't have any problems loading the site.
Make sure Safari is up to date also. From the Safari Menu Bar click Safari/About Safari. Which version are you running???? You should be on Safari 4.0.5

I was running 4.0.5 this morning and then TM back to 4.0.4 to see if the update was the problem, but no its still didn't work

Maybe your Safari preference files are corrupted.
Go to the Safari Menu Bar, click Safari/Preferences. Make note of all the preferences under each tab. Quit Safari. Now go to ~/Library/Preferences and move this file com.apple.safari.plist to the Desktop. Relaunch Safari. If you can view your site, move that .plist file to the Trash.

when u say "make note" do u mean write down what all the setting are set at, in

ok I found it Mac HD/Library/Preferences, but theres no com.apple.safari.plist there?

See the ~ (Tilde) character? That means the path is from your Home Folder
MacintoshHD/Users/YourName/Library/Preferences.
