Here I highly recommend to use Winzip, iZip Pro, and Zip viewer. With these archival zip-unzip apps,
you can easily open zip,rar, and other files on your iPhone and iPad.✅
And, the OP had a different iOS version. Resurrecting threads that old is not a good idea.
no need for another app, my wife just used copied into notes and opens from there
