iPAd 3G Reserved at Retail Store-Delivery Time

Nobody that knows is telling.

There are at least three Apple stores in my city. So far, once the original shipment sold out, there has not been a single iPad shipped to any of those stores.

It appears they are giving priority to online orders.

I have read that a few stores here and there in the country have gotten a shipment or two in. But no rhyme or reason anyone can figure.

I reserved my iPad 64GB 3G on May 3 and received the confirmation email. Still waiting.

An employee at the Apple Store (Holyoke, Mass.) told me that only 4 were handed out yesterday.

I'm thinkin' that ordering on online would be quicker, at least in my case.

I reserved mine on May 2 and just got the email this morning from the Natick, MA store that my 32gb 3GiPad is waiting for me. Finally!

I've been on the reserve list since 4/30 for a 16GB 3G. I still don't have my iPad.

I went to my local Apple store an hour ago. I put my name in a week ago (May 2) for a 64GB 3G iPad. They told me there are 46 names ahead of me. Asked about the Apple case for the iPad: They don't expect any of those for a month.

All this leads me to seriously question whether I need an iPad all that bad: iPhone plus MacBook meet all my needs. Maybe I'll blow it off and wait for next year's new and improved model.

Got on the waitlist last Sunday, May 2. Got my 32gb 3G this afternoon from a the local Apple store here in Central NJ.

Great!

But I got on the wait list on Friday, April 30th and still no iPad.

It's killing me.

I think it's a store-by-store deal After finding there were 46 ahead of me in the local store I gave up and ordered on line. Delivery should be May 18-22.

Expect to wait at least 2 weeks if not longer. I order mine May 2nd and still I haven't heard anything from apple.

I reserved mine the same day you did and I still haven't heard anything. Im like checking my email every hour for a confirmation but still nothing.

Same here jp. Every hour on the hour starting from the store opening time.

Just got my E-mail.

In Austin, TX, reserved my 64GB Ipad on May 2nd, still no word. They told me store reserves would be faster than online 2-3 days, now 9 days. Pretty frustrating........
