iPAd 3G Reserved at Retail Store-Delivery Time
I reserved an iPAd wi-fi plus 3G with 16GB memory at my local store on May 5. When do you think I can expect delivery? No help from Apple. Thanks.

We don't have an "Apple Store" but we have an apple dealer. I reserved a 32GB 3G on April 14. Nothing yet!
As the originator of this thread I thought I should update my situation.....one week and counting....no email from Apple.
Received my 3G 64gb iPad yesterday after one week on the reserve list.
Activated in store.
Wifi perfect on Apple Airport Extreme/Express g routers.
3G flawless so far.

I highly recommend just ordering it online via the Apple Online store. I physically went down to my nearest store yesterday which is an hour and fifteen minute drive just to check out accessories and for the iPad (for my husband) and they still have not gotten anything in.
Yesterday I got my 3G iPad via FedEx one day earlier than expected. Placed the order on the 3rd and got it on the 11th. So today instead of waiting around for a reservation I just placed another order for my husbands.

My local store gave an estimate of about a week or week and a half. I ended up ordering online though. I will say this. The day I was in the store asking about it I noticed someone was there to pick theirs up. All 3 of them! ha! I thought the "limit" was 2 but oh well, who cares. 🙂

Ordered my 3G 64 on the 6th and my buddy ordered a 32 3G same day. He got his email half an hour ago and I got nothing. Grrrrrr
When did you get the email from Apple that it had shipped. Ordered my WiFi 3G 64GB May 6th and no changes online BUT does indicate it could arrive this Friday the 14th.
I got the email right after lunch and am now setting up the iPad - I feel like a kid at Christmas.

Received 1st call that my unit was in at 1st store on Tuesday 10am.
Received 2nd call that unit was ready at second store Wed PM (today)!
Picked up ipad on Tuesday, cancelled online order (was quoted 7 days + delivery time- HA)
Anyone in Raleigh, NC area want to pickup a 64G-3g tomorrow before my hold on 2nd unit expires? 🙂

The person I spoke with called the retail store and was told it would be another 7-10 days before I would have it. The online person said it was a good possibility that the store was selling iPads to walk-ins that were meant to be for "reservations". AAGH!
Not knowing if and when my reserved one would arrive, I went ahead and placed a real order with an expected shipping date of the normal "7-10 days". HOWEVER WHEN CHECKING ON ORDER STATUS IT SAYS

Reserved 16gb 3g in staten island,NY on May 3rd. Have heard nothing yet but when i went in there a couple of times this week and i did see people leaving with Ipads so who knows??
