iPAd 3G Reserved at Retail Store-Delivery Time

Stopped into the store where I'm on the notify me list to find out where on the list I sit.

Was told they have no way of knowing where I am on the list.

Just got my email to pick up 32GB 3G at a store in Houston. Reserved on May 5th.

Reserved 3G 16g May 7th. The Altamonte Springs Florida store told me it could be days or weeks and had no idea how many people are ahead of me. Still Waiting...

Reserved at store on April 30 when notified they'd sold out. Received e-mail today that it is there waiting for me to pick up.

Ordered on-line May 1, when found out I could not use Apple gift card ⚠ in conjunction with debit card for in-store purchase. Have been tracking on-line ever since; left China on the 12th, hit Hong Kong, just left Memphis. Est. delivery date still says the 17th--it was originally the 11th-15th--but I've read these estimates are incorrect, perhaps by design (theft prevention, etc.) I'm hoping to be pleasantly surprised tomorrow or Saturday.

FWIW, I originally got the wifi, then returned for the 3G. These are so amazing that I've been missing it ever since. It's every bit as game-changing as he said, and worth waiting for.

How long after being informed that the reserved iPad is ready do you have to pick it up before your order is cancelled? I ask because I reserved the 3G 64GB at the chicago apple store, no email yet...and i'm out of town till the 17th.

Tracking says it's been here in my city since early this evening. Pretty quick transport!

The e-mail I received yesterday told me that I have until today. They didn't specify a time, so I'm assuming they hold it 24 hours, or until the end of the next business day.

As previously stated, on notify me list south jersey for 32gb 3G on may 4.

Email received last night may 13.

I also reserved mine at the Altamonte Springs store... they initially told me 3-4 days... that was back on the 8th. When I saw how other people were able to call the store and find out how many people were ahead of them, I did the same thing - only they seem not to know. Then they said it could be about a week or so.

I should have ordered it online. They told me I should have done both... I don't have enough money to reserve one in the store and buy one online... because if the store one comes in... the charge will still be for the one online...

I'll keep waiting.

You should have to pay for the one that you reserved in the store until it comes in. You would have to pay for the one you order online. If you don't pick up the one at the store with-in 24 hours, they will sell it to the next person in line, and there are plenty of them. If the store one comes in cancel your online order. While they do preauthorize the amount on your card, there isn't actually a charge until it ships.

I reserved an ipad 3g 16gb at two different apple stores (san diego) on the 8th and still nothing. How much longer? 😟

Put in request at Clarendon Va store on May 11 for 3G 64gb;
received notice this morning (May 16); no Apple iPad case or camera kit in stock;
picked it up with Belkin case and syncing now with iTunes.

Note: Put in order with MacMall on May 1
told May 4; then May 11; and then May 20.
For me store request was better option than ordering through Apple online or MacMall;
other individuals ordering in office from Apple online have had or have at least a two week wait.

I reserved one on May 07 and just received an email saying my iPad is available at the store. It was fast, only 6 business days!

I have another one reserved because due to an error two iPads were reserved on the same day. I think that the second one is soon arriving. I don't need two iPads. Therefore, if someone in Minneapolis wants to have it, just let me know. The reservation is for an iPad 64G 3G.
