Does APPLE respond to these topics? How do you restore DATA for 1 APP?

This is not my place to be rude or arrogant, nor anyone else. But you said I'm wrong when in fact a few of your posts reiterated what I had originally said. What you want doesn't mean I'm wrong. It's the way it is because that's the way it is. Maybe Apple doesn't know that this feature that you want is in demand. Keep in mind that www.apple.com/feedback is the place to share your ideas to Apple engineers and developers. They have that link for this reason.

As far as I know, no. I don't have very many apps on my iPod, so I don't know too much about this feature, aside from the fact that it exists.

This is absolutely insane. I lost data on my iPod Touch because the iOS 4.0 update didn't fully install, EVEN THOUGH iTunes reported a successful update and then restored from a backup. What good is a backup if it only takes Apps and not data? And why can't we selectively restore data to Apps. I just spent two hours restoring my iPod Touch and I've still got some tweaking to do. Very upset with Apple right now!

iPhone backup will backup just the the data and not the Apps. Did you read this thread at all?
Backing up the Apps is your responsibility.

And why can't we selectively restore data to Apps.
