UK Pre-order - "Shipped By" or "Delivered By"??

Unimpressed by TNT in South London.

They say 500-600 have been delivered to their Bermondsey depot by mistake instead of Croydon. So they have sat there all day. The UK tracker just says "please call" but no one is answering the freephone number now; you have to ring the depot numbers. The international tracker listed "Delay Due To Routing Error", and now shows "Onforwarded For Delivery" but this apparently just means delivery to the other depot not to the customer.

Can't collect because "there are too many to look through to find yours".

I've waited in all day & looks like I'll have to do the same tomorrow. Grrr.

Came home at lunch for 30 mins on the off chance the UPS man would arrive. He did 4 mins after i got in. Typing this on my 32gb 3G iPad. Loving it!

I have to say, you're all making me jealous. I'm in Canada, and my order is stuck at the Fedex sorting facility near the airport in Toronto until tomorrow. Apparently, Fedex has a hold on them and won't deliver any today.

Seems grossly unfair to me... 🙂

mine isnt even being delivered until 7th june guess that means i wont even receive it till later? what was the point in preordering grrrrrr

Mine arrived about an hour ago....

Just unboxed and hooking up to iTunes.

Mine arrived at 10am this morning.
Funny as my dock was sent out on Monday by post and it still hasn't arrived! 🙂

Mine arrived 9am this morning as promised. Had to work today, so just finished setting up, everything fine and no wifi issue. Well done Apple and TNT for getting them out on time.

I have exactly the same issue - UPS just shows "billing info received" and shows all 3 packages (ipad + accessories).
I haven't rang them.

The apple store status says "delivers tomorrow". I ordered at 3 am on the 10th too 😟

Has anyone who ordered a micro sim direct from orange had there sim delivered? Got the email yesterday that it had been dispatched but it never turned up, anyhow spoke to orange they said they were all posted yesterday, but only second class so may not turn up for five days with the bank holiday they said.

This response is coming from my iPad! (Sorry to anyone who is still waiting).

I was very lucky. Got home to find a we missed you card! Phoned my local TNT depot who phoned the driver. 10 minutes later he was at the door. Fantastic service.

Oh... And as for the iPad, not disappointed one bit!

I can really feel the disappointment to say the least for you people still waiting! I went and picked mine up after spending and wasting the day back and forth with both Apple/TNT on the phone - their tracking was misleading and incorrect I should have received mine yesterday, if I hadn't of gone myself it would have been delivered tomorrow! A real anti-climax and took the excitement away. All the best to those of you still waiting - my thoughts are with you...

Yes, I got the same response. Very poor from Orange who I have always found to be excellent at customer service.
Disappointing. Still, I'm pretty sure they will arrive tomorrow. Fingers crossed!
At least we can still use the device without the SIM.

Well, after the TNT tracker saying my ipad would be delivered today, I waited at work until 5.30 (have it being delivered to work as Im a teacher and can't take day off.)Nothing arrived. I phoned apple-they did the usual "oh, its not supposed to arrive until tomorrow" thing. I replied that I had waited behind at work because the bleeding TNT tracking page told me it was out on delivery. All my friends -who ordered their iPads two days after me-now have theirs. I am still without and seriously ****** off for having my time wasted and my custom devalued.
