UK Pre-order - "Shipped By" or "Delivered By"??

I no I spoke to UPS they are saying that they do not have it but apple are and i qoute 118% that i will have it tomorrow I can c me having a row with someone about it lol

Mine now says in transit in tamworth fingers tightly crossed I am off work until Weds so will have lots of time to play with it

I also have to say I am quite disappointed at TNT service. Although they claimed 3/4 of iPads being delivered today I live in Zurich (where TNT has its distribution center) and no iPad here. I also was waiting because of the tracker info which showed arrival in zurich at May 26th.

Either they delivered 3/4 into villages and where not able to manage it in the city or they - as I think - make planning mistakes. They deliver today until 10pm(!) this sounds like an emergency plan.

Apple; i would consider a more trustful shipment service!

I would seriously suggest you phone which ever courier service is delivering - the tracking I had was all wrong from start to finish - I should have received mine yesterday - went today to pick it up or else it would have been delivered tomorrow. Even when I had picked up my 3 parcels and got home the tracking said strike or some other rubbish - not to pleased with how all this has been handled although I am luckier than some because I have my iPad. All the best!

Have to agree with this. Mine was tracking for delivery tomorrow and it turned up today! Obviously I'm not complaining.

Happy for all the folks getting their ipads today and tomorrow enjoy! But does anybody know when us lot that weren't able to get our orders in straight away and still have "shipped by 7th of June" on our screens might get ours?

I would of thought the 7th but the way apple's couriers are could be a while longer if you look further back in this thred it gives you details of how the ordering process works

Well i got mine delivered today at around 3:30pm by UPS, tracking worked from last night. however i got my ipad64GB, Dock and Camera Kit and instead of a case i got somebody else's dock in my third package!

a quick phone call to UPS and the guy had phoned the driver and got him to come back and give me my case.

any of you who might have this problem tomorrow or anything (as there is an awful lot of these things in the network) might want to check the names on the packages and if there is an error, a phone call early on means the guy simply comes back and sorts it out.

overall very happy with UPS, very prompt and helpful

P.S every things worth the wait. Luxury device!!!!!

I have one on order but I am going to go to the Store tomorrow and see if I can get one, the one I ordered on-line only comes in June!

Mine has now arrived 9am typing this using it now how amazing a machine worth the wait enjoy everyone 🙂

If it's anything like mine it will ship 27th delivery god knows when.

I've had mine a nearly a full 24hrs and getting to grips with now. Loving it !!!!!!! Might go to mcdonalds to show it off lol.

I was just thinking the exact same thing brilliant bit of kit can see my laptop staying at home a lot more cant believe how heavy the keyboard dock is but amazing works perfect

Got mine this afternoon from the Apple Store in the Trafford Centre they was queuing since 5am and I got one easily without queuing at all!

Mine's finally arrived - they tried to deliver it yesterday when I was at work or I'd be playing earlier 🙂
