UK Pre-order - "Shipped By" or "Delivered By"??

So, I pre-ordered my iPad, an O2 micro-sim and a case at 12.22am on the 10th May.

I notice my order status says "Estimated shipping by May 28th", so I phoned Apple to enquire as to whether I could expect delivery on the 28th.

The rep told me that some orders show "estimated delivery by May 28th" and some show "estimated shipping by May 28th"

Now, if it means they're not going to ship my iPad before the 28th..then I'm not too pleased!!

So the question is...does anyone in the UK's order status say "delivered by May 28th"??

My 64Gb 3G/dock/Vodafone SIM have now shipped (ordered at 1am on the 10th). So perhaps there is no benefit in cancelling the SIM at this stage.

Now I can't wait until it arrives! 🙂

I ordered iPad 3G 64GB, Case, Camera Kit, Orange Sim and the dock on the 11th May about 8.30 PM. My order at the moment said JUNE!? I thought if you ordered on the 10th or 11th you will have it by Friday?

I don't see how they can just delay someones order, I'm going to ring up tomorrow and see what they say, hopefully I will still be able to get it 'By June 7th'.

Mine still says Not Yet Shipped. Estimated shipping by 28th May. Ordered 05:24 on the 10th May. What's going on? Methinks a call to Apple is needed to check everything is ok.

Just taken a look on the US apple store site and my order has been updated again, each of the 3 items now have seperate tracking numbers starting 1ZW7V17 so dont know if that means they have been shipped as seperate items, however when you click on the tracking number they all have the same UPS tracking number which is in a different format to what is displayed on the order page, The ups number is still not trackable on UPS site and on the apple site it just says "shipment dispatched"

I ordered mine only 20mins before you and mine shipped today.

Mine is showing the following on TNT:

24 May 2010 00:58:00 Shenzhen Shipment In Transit.
22 May 2010 20:31:32 Shenzhen Shipment In Transit.
22 May 2010 19:59:13 Shenzhen Shipment Collected From Sender.

Looks like it hasn't moved in the last 2 days 😟

I ordered mine on 19th May at about 11am in morning but mine still says ships by 28th so don't think I will get it on Friday
Oh well at least I have my wifi iPad to play with till it arrives
