"The item you've requested is currently not available in the US store"?
I get this message every time I try and go to the home page of the iTunes store. It says it when I try to go to the music page too. But I can still search and go to the subsection's of Music and all of the other sections of the store. But why can't I view the home page? Is anyone else having this problem?
ok ... i spoke too soon. everything seems to be back online and functional. sorry for the frustrated prior posting. i've just not had a very great relationship with iTunes and my iPod lately.
I dont under stand all this. It wasnt working right so i updated to try and see if that would help. Nope same problem as everyone else. This is getting to be a pain.
I get the same message when I try to access the iTunes store. Someone mentioned uninstalling iTunes and redownloading it. Does that work? If so how do you get the old iTunes totally uninstalled?

Ok so I figured out how to uninstall iTunes. I uninstalled it and downloaded it again. I am still getting this stupid message.. "the item you've requested....
What is going on?

Yes! This fix works. It looks like you'll get this message if there is some issue with your account. I had to go back to settings and re-confirm my credit card information and then I was good.
