iMac 3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, Mac OS X (10.6.3)
I upgraded to Lion in hopes of fixing this problem but it is still an issue on the new Imac and my new macbook air.
But iphone, and ipad are fine.
Looking for a fix as well-
Just started happening to me. Came in this morning and I get new emails but nothing that came in since I left the office last night. Have still been getting the emails on my iPhone.
i use Lion and office 2010.
Has anyone found a solution? or what causes it to start happening?
This problem has been occuring on my laptop - MacBook Air, late 2010, running Mail (Version 5.1 (1251/1251.1)) and OS X Version 10.7.2. Initially it was really just a small annoyance as the activity spin would always be going (and using up some CPU/Battery) - but recently, as in the last week, when it gets in this "Stuck" state, it no longer downloads new mail into the Inbox associated with our exchange server.
Going into Window/Activity - I see it's stuck in "Fetching new Mail - Synchronizing Tasks" - and it just stays stuck there. Thing is - I don't have a "Tasks" folder visible in the Mail.app interface - so there is little (nothing) to synchronize too, that I know of.
Anybody else get stuck on Fetching new Mail - synchronizing tasks?
