Tip: Close iPhoto and open Safari and create a new email and attach files from there.
After applying this to utilities, how is this saved ? I tried this and still have problems with attachments.

How do I send one of my phone photos as an attachment to an email?
Best to ask on the iPhone forum, and be sure to tell them what version of the OS you have. But assuming it's a recent one, select the pic in the Photos app and then tap the share button.
