Angry Bird HD no sound, problem with iPad or app?

It looks weird but it actually works! I had checked all mute options of my iPad2 and angry birds over and over again and still no sound in the paid version. Then:

- device button to mute

- application setting to mute

- application setting to unmute

- device button to unmute

And there was the sound! hooray :-)

I'm learning - the screen orientation button that turned into a mute button...that was it for me too, thanks!

My 2 Year old showed me how to do this..LOL!! You go to General --> Use Side Switch to: -> select Mute and then use lock button to unmute the sound.. Hope this help you..

Well I had gone into the mute button, tried the game with it on and off and had no sound. I also powered down and on again still no sound.

Then I hit the mute, powered down again, and unmuted when it powered back up and now I have sound.

It's obviously a bug in the app. Hopefully the developers fix it and we all get an update soon.

I have turned the mute switch off and on a coupe of times (the switch above the volume bottoms) and worked perfectly

So, i got an ipod touch a few weeks ago, and i bought the angry birds game, and for some reason when i hit level 230 the sound stopped working.How di i fix this on an pod touch?

If performing the mute button/orientation fix (see earlier posts) doesn't work you can always re-install Angry Birds HD from the App Store. The downside: Your playing history doesn't transfer so you'll be starting over from scratch.

1. On the main icon page hold down the Setting icon until the icons begin shaking.

2. Locate the Angry Birds HD App and press the 'X' that appears in the upper left corner of the icon.

3. Approve the deletion.

4. Reload the App from the App Store.

* To avoid being re-billed for a paid App you must sign in to same account used to make the initial purchase.

I just finished reloading and everything is working again.

Try pressing the + volume control. Really. Your phone can have independent volumes for ringer and other apps/features. Confusing but true. So when you're in your game and there's no sound just give the + vol button a press and you might find that this volume was down at zero (happened to me!)

Rebooting an app in ITunes?

I though rebooting was strictly a Microsoft PC solution to problems.

Anyway, I also lost the sound for Angry Birds on my iPhone 4.

Phone is only 3 weeks old.

Sound in Angry Birds worked fine originally.

Turning phone off and on again does not solve the problem.

Strange thing is, when I finish the final level, the sound comes back on for the video clip at the end of the game.

Strange.

Would deleting the app from the iPhone and then reloading it from iTunes do any good!

No, rebooting will reset the system pointers and memory. Reinstalling the OS is a fix for Windows problems.

I know this may seem like a "duh" solution, but is your iPhone on vibrate? If so, Angry Birds audio will not play. Flip the silent switch, see if that fixes it...
