iOS 4 Initial impressions

So, I just installed iOS 4 on my 32GB 3GS. The download itself took about 3 minutes and then the installation took about 30 minutes. But to be fair, most of the installation was restoring all my data back onto the phone.

I am looking forward to messing around with the new OS and posting more impressions.

What do you guys think of the new OS?

13" MacBook Pro 2.53 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, Mac OS X (10.6.4), 32 GB iPhone 3GS; 32 GB iPhone 4 Black (delivers on June 24)

Hey guys, take another look at Photo Library pictures. After a couple of hours, they seem to have sharpened. Think iOS4 runs some background process that makes each picture sharper (not sure why if all the data is already on the phone). Anyways, all my pictures are now sharp as the day I took them.

Just out of curiosity... those who saw this problem, do you have a 3g? I do & maybe the slower processor took longer to sharpen the images? Those with 3gs maybe didn't see an issue since their phones processed the images faster? Just a theory.

Already back on 3.1.3... not a fan. A bit too slow on my 3G, no reason to upgrade on my 3G with all the missing features, and there are a few stray incompatibilities with apps.

The only issue now is that google is still getting hammered by people syncing iOS 4, so my email doesn't work completely right now.

I might give it a chance when it's no longer *.0 software.
