Can not connect to Wifi after upgrade

After upgrading to IOS4 on my 3G touch I can not connect to any wireless access points. I have tested on the two at my work and two at home. I put in the WPA key and it appears to connect but I do not get assigned an IP address through DHCP. I have tried setting everything static but I still can not browse. I have restored my touch back to 3.1.3 and they all work great. I then upgraded back to 4.0 and can not connect to anything. I restored the network settings on the ipod and disabled security on the access points with no change. I am very tech savy but my inability to connect to 4 access points tells me that it is my touch but the old firmware works great. My touch is stock and had never been jailbroken. Any ideas?

Also having wifi troubles since installing ios4, sometimes it will give me 3 signal bars but still not actually be connected to the internet. Tried everything, turning wifi off then on again, resetting ipod, resetting router, fiddling with security settings, nothing works.

MxPxRobbie - thanks but doing that still didn't fix it for me.

So I called Apple and there answer is to take it into the apple store to have them see if they can connect to there wireless or downgrade back to 3.1.3 until 4.1 comes out. I also upgrade the firmware on my access point with no change. This is starting to really **** me off as I don't want to have to downgrade but it does not look like I have a choice.
