iOS4 update - now iPhone now reboots during phone call

After about 4 or 5 mins in a phone call my iPhone 3GS reboots itself for no apparent reason. this did not happen before I put the iOS4 update on it. Is the some way I can stop this happening, or revert back to the previous version?

Nothing to do with 3rd party apps as I removed them all and still had same issue after restoring as a new iPhone.

Apple just released 4.0.1 update.
Can somebody test if this update fix our problem ?

can someone tell me what you lose if you upgrade to 4.0.1 as new phone..would i lose all my meetings in the calendar for example?

Don't really understand what you mean by "as new phone". Just plugged the iphone on the computers ans itunes tells an update is available. Following the steps basically and that's all.

I also have this problem.
I tried turning 3G off in network settings and so far the phone has never rebooted with 3G turned. Not very ideal though.

Again me I have just try without 3g and Wifi ..........still reboot while calling
Apple is like Microsoft now..............

Installed 4.0.1 and reset network settings. Rebooted it again for the **** of it. Well I just had a 28 minute call with no problems! I'm not holding my breath but it's looking more positive.
