iOS4 update - now iPhone now reboots during phone call

After about 4 or 5 mins in a phone call my iPhone 3GS reboots itself for no apparent reason. this did not happen before I put the iOS4 update on it. Is the some way I can stop this happening, or revert back to the previous version?

I'm fed up with having to restrict my calls to just a few minutes.

Has anybody had a response from Apple on this yet? Have they even achnowledged its a fault?

Add me to the list! 6 Month old 3GS no prior problems! Upgraded to iOS4 now reboots 5mins into calls. Updated to 4.01, still exactly the same!!! SORT IT OUT APPLE!!!!

Hello, same problem here, Strasbourg FRANCE. Since i updated to IOS4 my 3GS crash during calls. Especially if the signal is weak.

Just got through to apple care and am now downloading ios4 version 4.0.1 which according to the lady will fix the problem.

@aldy:apple told me the same thing.to chance my sim card,but this did not fix the reboot problem at my phone.

it realy think it is the sensor problem.

Have installed iOS4.1beta and reset network settings but the problemen is still there....

My iPhone 3GS started rebooting 5 minutes into a call when I installed iOS 4.0. I had hoped that iOS 4.0.1 would fix this problem, but it has not.

Apple! Please acknowledge this, and fix it!

Yes, I have the same thing here: when I use Acrobits Softphone app to access Blueface.ie (my VoIP provider) I have no spontaneous reboots.

It's a bug, Apple.

Since I manually reset the network settings on all 18 3GS and 4 phones everything been fine since my last post.

Ah. Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
