iOS4 update - now iPhone now reboots during phone call

After about 4 or 5 mins in a phone call my iPhone 3GS reboots itself for no apparent reason. this did not happen before I put the iOS4 update on it. Is the some way I can stop this happening, or revert back to the previous version?

I haven't had the phone reboot during a call, but I find it freezes once or twice a day and THEN reboots! Very annoying. Clearly a software problem.

ios v4 will reboot during iTunes safari mail or iPod (plus third path apps too).

Obviously apple has fired the QA dept 😟

No Such problem ... i just finished 26min single call for the first time after installing 4.0.1 on my 3gs 32gb UK model, iphone is working as good as expected with my 8yrs old sim.

I have the same problem. My 16 gb iphone 3gs keeps constantly rebooting after I am in a few mins of a call. I would be glad if Apple acknowledged the problem and came up with a solution to it.

I also have the same issue - add me to the list - 3GS on IOS4.0.1 and I get re-booted at least once a day - heyelp!

I'll add my name to the list, I have 3GS with 16Gb running 4.0.1 - phone reboots on longer calls approx 15mins. Has not happened when using headset so far...

Me too. it also turns its own sound off and puts itself onto vibrate. if i'm playing a game it try's to reboot.
